Where Polo Grounds seats can be Found.
In the New York City Public and private School System!! In this article read(NY Times 4/11/64) where it says, 54,000 seats to be sold to Schools with a few to the HOF and some interested buyers. So the NY on the side of the seats in an auditorium didn't mean NY city school system, it meant NY Giants! Most by now are probably in storage or used by custodians in the basements. Keep your eyes pealed my collector friends,fear not everything is not in the hands of Steiner,etc.

heck, a bunch of Connie Mack Stadium seats were sold to the Bloomsburg (PA) Fairgrounds

I just think you found the answer to NYC's economic woes.
They should take those seats out of the schools and auction them off!

Hi where did you find the pic? Is it an old photo or new? Seems crazzy that 44 years later the seats are there but that would be cool
