    BWP bat labeling question

Can anyone tell me what the deal i with the barrel labeling on BWP bats is? I have seen 3 different variations all supposedly from 07-08. I have seen Damon bats with "New York Yankees" "Pro Select" and "Pro Maple" all under the name. Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Re: BWP bat labeling question

There are even ones that say "Red Oak" and "Pro Ash".

These new phrases under his name are new to 2008 I believe. I think LVS is the only company allowed to put the team name on the bat, so instead BWP puts the type of bat on the labeling.

But, I have some 08 used BWP bats with the team name on them. They come with MLB holograms. So, either they were made early in the season, or a carry over from 07.

    Hope that helps,

    Tom
