Happy holidays-
Can a Forum reader identify which team wore thse pants in 1962? Grey flannel with a red or cardinal and navy or black braid down each leg?
Possibly the Twins or Angels?

Re: 1962 flannel pants-HELP-what team????
Howard I am pretty sure it is from the Angels. Going dressed to the nines in 1962 it doesn't show the Twins Road Uniform having a stripe down the side of the pants.
But it shows the Angels uniform having one.
Also if you google "Angels Uniform History Plaque" - its a drawing showing past uniforms and from what it looks like it has a strip during that era going down the side that matches what you have.

Re: 1962 flannel pants-HELP-what team????
Thanks to Suave and also good friend Dave Miedema for their insight.
From what I understand, these are most likely pitcher Jim Donohue Angels road pants. Dan Osinski also wore the number 40 later in the year, but isn't quite as big as Donohue.
I'm seeking $125. for these (plus postage) and am also open to offers.
Thanks to all of you who emailed and assisted.
