    Calling all Braves fans...

Remember the former Braves catcher Javy Lopez? I only remember him wearing #8 for the team. There is a bat I'm looking at that he used with Atlanta and on the knob it has #18 and it has his name on the barrel. Any explainations to this? It's an old Glomar bat.

Well if the bat was used during his time with the Braves chances are he didn't use it and another player did.

These players wore #18 during his time on the team.

    Ryan Klesko - 8 years
    Wes Helms - 2 years
    Ryan Langenhaus - 1 year

Here is a good website where you can research a players number with all of the teams he played for. According to this he only wore # 8 throughout his career with the braves.

Thrush29- thanks for the website, its really helpful.

This bat looks pretty old. The fact that its a Glomar is a givaway. I believe its legit but prolly used by another player. Either that or he wore number 18 for a very short period during spring training. Maybe used by Klesko?? Its on Ebay right now if anyone needs to take a look at it.
