    Mets '93 Home Uni Question

Does anybody know where I could go to get some work done on a Mets 1993 home jersey. Many of you might be tempted to recommend Stitches --but they were not the Mets embroiderers in 1993 and do not have the proper 1993 uniform specs.

    Thanks in advance.

Stitches can do it for you if you want, they have the letters and numbers in stock that are exactly like the ones the Mets used in 93. I had them do a 93 road jersey for me and that uses the same letters and numbers as the home jersey.

I did that. They didn't get it right. Particularly the front #'s. Your 93 road doesn't have any front #'s so you might've avoided any problems. I got some front #'s that were essentially like the current front #'s, but without the drop shadows. Drop shadows aren't the only difference between now and then. The '93 front #s were thinner, among other things.

Sorry, I never thought about the front numbers being different.

    Hi Paul,

I mailed out the Dave Telgheder but I also just got the Jeff Kent in the mail... so I am able to measure out those front numbers for you if you like.

Feel free to shoot me an email.

    Nick
