    Batting helmet displays

I was wondering what everyone uses to display their game used batting helmets. Please post pictures of your displays. I'm looking for ideas how to display my Alcides Escobar Brewers batting helmet.

Ive got mine displayed on top of the boxes. Simple!

Have you checked on eBay for batting helmet display. They have a few nice ones on there, that arent to over priced.

Also check out this link http://www.americansportscollectible...playcases.html You can have your favorite team, all star, or even world series logo etched into the case. Higher priced.

I use the full size football helmet, mirrored display cases. You can find them on ebay. I put an empty clear gatorade bottle underneath to make it look like the helmet is up and floating. I will try and get around to get a picture up.

I try to make mine look like they are in a locker. Even if you don't go with the locker though, you can still basically get the same idea just by setting it on a shelf.

I wish I had that much room to do something like that. Your lockers look awesome! How long did it take you to do something like that? Do you have plan for the lockers?

    Re: Batting helmet displays

The best part of my plan was inviting a couple of buddies over to help me

We made it up as we went along, but basically we just framed it up with 2x4's (the same way you would do any wall, except that you make changes where you want shelves, etc) and them boxed it in with tongue and groove boards. You might say it is like building a closet...I just did 7 closets in a row.

Thanks for the compliments by the way.

My helmet is part of my game used Yankees display cabinet. This is an old picture, I have a lot more caps in there at the moment (GU Vizcaino and Stars and Stripes Phil Coke caps) But am tempted to put another helmet in there!
