Estate Sales of former MLB player
there is a former detroit player whose souvenirs are on auction on ebay. just curious how dealers go about getting these items in the first place. if you are a detroit collector there are some nice items right now up for sale on ebay.

I remember when Mike Gutierrez auctioned the estate of Babe Herman (consigned by his daughters). Included tons of team autographed balls from when he was a minor league player to coach, teammate Covaleski 1930s game used Reds cap with eye glasses holder built in, autographed snapshots from when he was a Pre-Season Detroit Tiger at age 18 (cut by Manager Ty Cobb). I won some team balls, signed snapshots and a 1930s PCL game cap.
