Re: Any help
This is really weird
I looked up Pat Tabler to see if i can get a time frame of when these sigs would be from.
Pat was never inolved with the Yankees except for when he was drafted in the mid to late 70's and then traded in 81. He never played for the Yankees. According to looking through the internet the Albany Yankees were existance from 84 to 94 which Tabler would have been long gone since then.
So its weird someone would have a Pat Tabler game used bat and then have it autographed years after he left.
So I must say I am stupmped, but during those years there were a lot of big name Yankees that came from there
Jeter
posada
Mariano
Pettittte
Leyritz
Velarde
Pat Kelly
Roberto Kelly
Deion Sanders and a lot more
Send me some pics if you can I will try to figure it out

Re: Any help
im sorry its actually 85 to 94
not 84
Here are some more big names that came from those years
Bernie Williams
Andy Fox
Brian Boeringer
Al Leiter
Gerald Williams
J.T. Snow
Hal Morris
Doub Drabek
Sterling Hitchcock
Russ Davis
Andy Stankweicz
Brad Ausmus
Mike Dejean
Russ Springer
Bob Geren
Brien Taylor - the big prospect
Orestes Destrade
Scott Kameinicki
THEY ACTUALLY HAVE ROSTER LISTINGS FOR THEM DURING THERE YEARS I AM SURE IF YOU WENT THROUGH EVERY ROSTER YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO MATCH SOME NAMES AND PINPOINT WHAT YEAR IT IS FROM

Re: Any help
The bat is a 1986-89 model and yes, the team is 1991 Albany-Colonie Yankees. Players on that team include... Brad Ausmus, J.T. Snow, Gerald Williams, Russ Springer.
I believe Tabler was probably a coach, as well as Bob Mariano that is right below the "Slugger" label and stopped playing pro ball in 1984 with Charlotte.

Re: Any help
Probably just a GU Tabler bat that someone got somewhere and brought it to a A-C Yankees game to get sigs on. I saw that alot in Richmond AAA.
