Bobby Abreu????????

Ok is it me or am I going crazy that no one has picked up Abreu???

I mean this one really baffles me!!!

Al I hear is teams are looking at him but no one has bit yet???

Even most of the reporters are saying they are shocked he has gone this long with out being picked up.

Here is the only argument I had really heard so far that no one wants to pick him up is because he wants to much for his age.

Ok but his numbers havent dropped at all and even if they did drop just a little would still be a great pick up for most teams.

I was shocked when the Yankees let him go.
1) He was our most consistant player for the past 3 years
2) And for the salary the Yankees paid him to do what he is supposed to do - HE ACTUALLY DID IT FOR 3 YEARS!!!

So here is a guy career .300 BA - Averages 20 home runs a year and a decent arm in the outfield.


SO WHATS THE PROBLEM?????
