Value of cracked Ken Griffey Jr. bat

I have a friend is wants to sell me a cracked Griffey bat unsigned but shows tons of use and has his notorious tape job on handle. It is from his mariner days. The person selling use to play pro ball and has hundreds of bats for sale so I know it is legit. How much should I be willing to pay for it, again unsigned, black cracked bat, tape job and number 24 on knob bottom.

I believe he does have one Gwynn bat. I will have to check him him on how much he is looking to get for it. Some of his bats show tons of use with cracks or tons of ball marks and some of them don't. I personally only usually buy used bats that show "good use" so I will check on how much use it shows also if he has one.

Trust me I'm as big of a Bo collector as it gets, he does have a bat from that era but is shows no game use. Bo did 100% give him that bat but I don't think it ever touched a baseball. I looked it up and down for at least 15 minutes. So yes and no. I personally have a few bats but don't plan on selling them. One of them is inscribed "game used 1989" or maybe 1991 can't remember. Cool bat though, if you want a un-used issued bat then yes there is one available.
