It turns out that Mike, the seller of his fan loyalties, was sincerely seeking a new team. I won the auction with a high bid of $25 and Mike is now a diehard fan of the San Diego Chargers. Now he has an entirely different team that can disappoint him.

    Jason,
Come on man! I'm a Browns fan. You want to talk disappointed! Atleast the Cavs are doing good!

    Scott,

I thought about the Browns, but wouldn't that just be cruel? I work in Washington, DC and a guy in my office -- Michael Eads -- is a huge Browns fan. When Modell planned to move the Browns to Baltimore, Eads organized a march and demonstration on Capitol Hill. He actually to leave from the company. He had me up there in the pouring rain with a huge cut-out of a Browns helmet on a stick chanting "No Browns no peace!" I don't even know what that was supposed to mean, but he got good television coverage here locally. He was devastated when the Ravens went to the Super Bowl.

    Jason,
Michael Eads is da'man! That's what a Brown's fan is all about.
