M9 Maple bats made for promo use
I remember reading that at the LVS store you could purchase Manny Ramirez M9 S318 bats that were identical to professional bats but had an M stamped on the knob. Is this correct? It has been awihle since I read about it, so I dont quite remember.

Tri-Star was selling some replica Biggio M9 bats two weeks ago at their annual January show. They were fully dipped and had "7" stamped in the knob. Of course Biggio used unfinished M9s.

Re: M9 Maple bats made for promo use
I was looking for that one. The bat I am talking about was originally for sale at $699. Now it is photomatched for a $1000 more.

My mistake they are two different bats. I didnt think photomatching would increase the value that much. $1399 for a Ellsbury bat??? WOW
