What's a good way to start my collection?

Hi, I've got a small baseball memorabilia collection started already, but I'm looking to expand it.

I'm looking for some advice on how I should do that. I'm mostly looking for Cubs items, old and new.

Not looking for anything too expensive --- so what's a good way to start?

Well first you should decide what interests you more is it Baseball cards, photos, jerseys, bats gloves, figurines, then after you decide that pick your favorite player or team. Start with in expensive items and move up from there. That will give you a foundation of what you appreciate most and then you can decide from there what you would like to collect most. The most inexpensive way to start in any of these categories is to collect common players or even semi stars and work your way up from there.
