Help: 2005 Reds Alternates

Hi guys -

This is a shout out to the Reds uni collectors here on the board and a tap on their knowledge.

Question, I've at times been offered a 2005 Reds Alternate Red jersey. It's attractive. Seems same jersey over time gets offered to me. My question is, how desireable are the alternates to home and roads, and how often were the alternates worn? Was it Sundays only, etc etc. Appreciate the imput.

I thought there were Reds guys here? Not a single answer. Wow. So much for the Reds contingent....

I only remember them being used on Sunday home games

In 2005 Reds only used the alternate all red jersey on home Sunday games. I believe it ends up being around 14 times a season. It was only this past season they used them on on a bunch of Saturday and all Sunday games. Besides the 4th July weekend Saturday and Sunday games when they used the camo/military style jersey.
I prefer the alternate red jersey the best. Seems the most popular style for collector's as well. At Redsfest the alts get picked clean first.
