Questions on 2008 Red Sox Alternate Red Jerseys

Couple quick questions on Red Sox alternates Red Jerseys?

1) When did they wear these?

2) Did they wear both the Cool Base and Regular style jerseys during games?

3) Any difference between the red BP and game jerseys?

To the best of my knowledge the Bp Jerseys had white numbers and the regular season Jerseys had dark blue (maybe black) numbers outlined with white.
