    Thanks, Bobby
My guess the photo is from '02-'03 season. I would say photofile.com might have this photo in the back of some old file cabinet. But goodluck getting someone to email or contact you back. I have asked many times for older Edgar photos' only to be let down. But Mill Creek sports might have some unsigned ones left. And yes I have seen that pine rag in the past once before and failed to bid on it..."How stupid could I have been!" Goodluck thought!

Here's my new Edgar! Was told it's from 2003. The one thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have 11 and the weight written on the knob.

Those are some mighty fine bats! I love the pine tar ... Mientkiewicz was the best on the Twins for goo but I think Edgar has him beat on that one bat!

Every now and then I'll repair a bat that is completely broken and then need to touch up the pine tar on the crack. One night near, the end of the season, I happened to be talking to the batboy's dad and I mentioned that sometime I might have to see if he could get me a pine tar "book". That night at BP his dad walked over the dugout and just asked for one and brought it right to me. I was near speechless ... and thought I might get arrested or something. It was a few years ago and I would have never had the opportunity again (batboy retired) and I have never seen one on eBay w/ Twins logo. I would have likely never gotten the courage to ask for one ... and I am so glad I have it.

I'll keep an eye out for a Mariners' one for you.

Wow thats an incredible Edgar collection you got there tmpjets!! The only piece of Edgar memorabilia I have is a game worn wristband. The other wristband is Junior's from 1990. Hopefully Edgar will join him in the Hall one day.

Exclamation Re: Lets see YOUR Edgars'!!!

I've owned 2 Edgar GU Hrs in my life, both bought from the fans who caught them. The first was from a man at Comiskey Park all too happy to sell it to me because he was unemployed at the time, while the second was from a group of kids who begged it from a groundskeeper when it landed in the open area behind the CF wall at Comiskey. Both ended up in the collection of a GU baseball collector in Seattle who isn't a member of this site.
