    Tino - Pujols Photomatch

One of my favorite bats just got better...

I was able to Photo-match an Albert Pujols bat used by tino Martinez to two games... 9/18/02 and 9/19/02 against Colorado... Tino hit a solo HR in the 9/18 game

I went a little overboard with the red circles... but I couldnt help myself!!!!

Does your bat have a cupped end? The bat in the one picture clearly is cupped and in the photos your bat does not appear to be cupped.

It looks pretty close - what specifically are you having issues with?
Many of the marks appear to match up - the thing that is messing with my eyes is the color difference from the photos. Other than that, I'm having trouble figuring out the things that would keep it from being a match.

Here's a picture with the cupped end...

The bat was obviously used more after the photo... but I think the marks are dead on...

while there are some that are just close and by themselves would be iffy... as a whole when you start to add them up, they are overwhelming...

I am happy and its a match to me... I would like to hear what everyone else thinks

I think its a match, and like you said, there are more marks on the bat from use after those pictures were taken. Nice bat!

Bert, nice job matching the bat! The 9/18 photos look dead on -- it's not just the ball marks, but also the stampings. Honestly, the match isn't as obvious to me on the 9/19 shots showing the back of the bat, but the 9/18 photo is all you need to call it a match in my eyes. That's a winner!
