Re: Ricky Williams Dolphins jersey...
I purchased a jersey (dolphins from Jim Yackel) from Ricky's first year with dolphins. shows game use jersey displays a name change and had the year tag removed which Jim told me was due to a jersey being reused. the dolphins would remove the year tag. Any questions I am sure you could call him and ask Jim about it. I bought it from him about a year and a half ago, for $350. He said he probably used it in pre season.

Re: Ricky Williams Dolphins jersey...
Well, you snooze, you loose... I forgot all about the auction tonight... oh well, $1205 was a steal when you consider that some people have dropped 2-3K on these jerseys

For the life of me I can't understand what Williams has ever done to command prices like that.

Honestly, to me, if he hadn't had the weed problems, I think we'd be talking about one of the top ten best RB's of all time... that's just me though

Re: Ricky Williams Dolphins jersey...
I think blaming it the weed is actually letting him off the hook. He had all the physical tools but his heart just wasn't in it. Guys like Emmitt and Payton (and of course the great Curtis Martin
) excelled on sheer determination. There are a lot of ex players walking the streets that have coulda woulda shoulda stories but the fact is, despite the potential, Ricky's NFL career was a complete bust and he single handidly killed that Miami franchise with his antics. Yet one of his many available gamers gets ober 1k?
