L/S:Team name vs "Louisville Slugger"
This has probably been discussed before but what is the difference between a L/S game used bat that has the team name branded under the players signature and one that just has "Louisville Slugger"?

Re: L/S:Team name vs "Louisville Slugger"
I think I know this one...
The year. 1991 they started putting the team name on the bat. 1990 there was nothing below the player's name/signature and before that, the LVS name appeared in several different forms.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: L/S:Team name vs "Louisville Slugger"
That's absolutely correct.
From 86-89 the Louisville slugger was branded with a registered trademark symbol. Pre 86 there was no registered trademark.metsbats86@aol.com

We also put Louisville Slugger on minor league bats unless the major league affiliate is picking up the tab.
