    Darryl Strawberry Jersey Question

Can anyone please advise what size jersey Darryl Strawberry wore while he was with the Dodgers (1991-1993)? Suave, as our resident Strawberry collector, maybe you know? Or maybe Rudy S. or Dan C. might know, as well?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

    Kind Regards,

    Ron.

    Re: Darryl Strawberry Jersey Question

Island Style during his time with the Dodgers he was a 44 and always and I do mean always had it with a an extra inch tag (usually 4 inch extra length tag) I beleive I may have seen one with 2 inches but usually he ordered 4.

I never have seen a jersey of his with out the extra length tag.

    Hope this helps!!

    Sauve,

Any photos of Darryl from the 1985 All-star game in Minneapolis? I have a lead on his 85 all-star bat that I would like to pick up for my Minnesota collection.

Tay unfortunately I do not. I have checked everywhere of all the pics I have and nothing from that actual game.
My only suggestion would be to see if maybe a dvd pops up on ebay for the 85 sll star game. As I have seen in the past sellers selling dvd's of passed all star games including the 80's

By the time Strawberry got to the Yankees he was wearing a size 46
And again with extra length inch tags - usually a 2 inch tag and possibly a 4 inch tag

Do you think he ever wore a 48 with the Yankees?

I would have to check but I would say that is likely, he may have in his last season with them.

Strawberry during his career for the most part kept his body weight in shape. He never really blew up in size.

He started I believe at a 42 and may have ended with a 48 (I have to check my collection notes / collection when I get home)
But this was over a 17 season career

As of now with the Mets in Spring Training since 2006 he has been wearing 52 (No exta inch length tag)
