Did Ortiz ever use diablo bats? found this on e-bay. Just trying to get thoughts. Those seam impressions are unlike anything I've ever seen. What do you guys think??

I think a lot of diablo bats ended up being used for BP...not that many players used them in games. I don't think they even got approval for use this season. That might explain the marks...

If you search the old posts here for "megmuffins", you will see that this seller specializes in Diablo bats tried by many stars that were most likely used for spring training or BP. Don't think there have been any at bats by Ortiz in the last few years that were not Rawlings(90%), Nokona or an occasional x-bat or LVS experiment.
