Re: Fungo Bats
Robin Yount Diamondbacks fungo from Spring Training 2003...and the nice inscription Yount put on it for the player (Tony Womack) who cracked it for him.

Re: Fungo Bats
Thank you for the info and pictures? Sounds like most are found via auction, anyone find them from the team at the stadium or fan fest? My current grail hunt is for an Ed Sedar fungo.

Re: Fungo Bats
I got the Yount bat from a clubhouse guy in Tucson.
I have a friend who has a Bob Melvin DBacks fungo right now that he's trying to sell for someone who got it from "a team source". He put it on eBay the other day with a beginning bid of $100, and (of course) there were no bids, so I'm waiting for him to either relist it or sell it to me outright.

Re: Fungo Bats
No photos available. However, I do have a signature model LS fungo bat of Bob Rodgers from the Expos, and also a Preston Gomez block letter fungo bat that I believe is a Worth.
Any player or coach identified fungo bat is certainly not common.
That Yount from the DiamondBacks is a classic!
