1976 White Sox shorts
Looking for the shorts the White Sox wore in the first game of a double header on August 8, 1976. I already own one pair and am looking for more.

The fact that ONE pair exists in the collector's market is news.
I remember reading a Sporting News article circa '79 about the Sox trying to pawn the shorts off on their AA Knoxville affiliate, to decidedly mixed reviews.

I've only seen three in my life and purchased the only one I saw on the market about nine years ago. The White Sox have Alan Bannister's pair in their collection. The Hall of Fame has a pair although the tagging wasn't visible so I don't know who the player was. I own the pair Gossage wore. About ten years ago Dave Mediema told me you could fine them in the early eighties pretty easily, but they have since dried up.
