    #'s on game used equipment

Are the players the ones who put their numbers on their game used equipment like the number on the knob of the bat, the number underneath the brim of hats,etc.etc.etc

Kyle I would say most of the time the players do it themselves but it has been noted from time to time the players will have the equipment managers number there game used stuff for them.

It depends on a whole lot of stuff. In my experience, the only stuff we tagged (in football) were the pants themselves since they'd get washed all at once and it was the only way to keep a bunch of the same size assigned to the same player.

Other stuff like cleats and individual equipment was labeled by the player himself; our rule was that anything personal for the player was their responsibility, while anything team-issued was ours.
