Mike or BMH: Bob Hegman Bat

OK guys, could you help me with another great bat I found on GUU (Thanks, Nate!!)? I really enjoy finding quirky, oddball MN bats and found two great ones here recently. One was the Pazik bat and here's the other:

Bob (Hiller) Hegman: Springfield, MN - Kanas City Royals

Career Stats: first game 8/8/1985 - last game 8/8/1985 - no at bats

    33" LVS - C271
    Name on barrel: "HEGMAN"
    Center label characteristics: 1980s
Finish color: natural - flame treated
    Wood: ash

Question: How many bats did he order in his one-game career?

    BMH ~

    I enjoyed your Hmmmmmm.

Does that mean you'll think about it a bit or look somewhere else? If the Royals ordered all M110s then how did my Hegman C271 come into existance?

Thanks for all your help and your time you spend answering our questions! Especially the ones that make you go ... Hmmmmmm.
