Re: Seattle Mariners Oakland A's Turn Back the Clock game
I see on the A's promotions listing they will have a Turn Back The Clock Replica Jersey give away day on Aug 16 vs the White Sox. Since last year was their 40th year in Oakland they gave away replica jerseys from different years. The A's did wear their '68 jerseys the day of the give away. So they may do something like that again this year.

Yeah, they wore '68 jerseys. I wish I could have picked up that one too. I heard those were sold in a silent auction at one of the weekend games.

Re: Seattle Mariners Oakland A's Turn Back the Clock game
Yes, some of the '68 jerseys were sold at the A's Community Fund silent auctions during weekend games. I just missed out on a couple of them. From what I recall seeing, I have a weekend ticket package for the A's, only about 10 jerseys were available at the auctions. Some others may have been auctioned at other events. I think the players were allowed to keep them if they wanted to.

"We only have a Kurt Suzuki Oakland Oaks uniform that will be available
for auction online during the month of June. June 1st is the proposed
start date of this auction."

Re: Seattle Mariners Oakland A's Turn Back the Clock game
I just wanted to bump this thread to see if anyone has seen any of the 1939 Oakland Oaks unis turn up anywhere (except for the Kurt Suzuki which went on mlb.com).
Thanks again!
Chris
