You may have seen these, but Mr. Taube has a few on his site.

Always looking for game used bats from Andre Dawson, Ryne Sandberg, Mark Grace, Jody Davis, Shawon Dunston, Jerome Walton, Rick Sutcliffe, and Greg Maddux. Preferably CUBS era bats.

Re: Scott Rolen Items Wanted
That's funny.
Rolen's stock plummeted so bad after the 2007 season that his gamers went from $400+ to $289 being too steep. The thing that those bats have going for them are a solid LOA and MLB authentication...otherwise, I know where you are coming from. How much are you looking to spend? Do you want a Mizuno or LS?Dave

Re: Scott Rolen Items Wanted
I know Rolen bats have gone down alot in price in the past few years. Thats what I meant when I said $298 was too expensive (for today's going price at least). The one Taube has for sale for $298 I'll never buy for one reason. He's the one that outbid when it was on ebay a few months ago lol, he got it for under $125..... I would prefer a LS over a Mizuno. I already have 2 mizuno Rolen bats. I like the bats that have team names on them I'm not sure why. Mizuno bats are just too plain and the writing is so small on them now for my liking, maybe I'm just too picky haha.

Re: Scott Rolen Items Wanted
wait, I just re-read what I just wrote and the first part completely didn't make sense....I guess what I'm trying to say is; I'm just too darn stubborn and bull-headed to pay $289 for a Rolen bat that I know the dude selling it only paid $125 for lol...

Make perfect sense Rossi. Stick to your guns and you'll find what you are looking for.
I'm the same way and I make no bones about it. I've been offered jerseys for $2000 (on a jersey that market value dictates is approx. $1000-$1500 max.) that the seller purchased 2 weeks earlier for $800. Now, I wouldn't mind paying $1000......maybe $1100...everyone needs to make a little something. But a $1200 mark up? Ridiculous.
Hold out for the item you're lookng for at the price you feel comfortable paying based on fair market value. You'll find it.
Good luck,
Jay
