are they authenticators? i thought they were more like memorabilia dealers and that they are going out business to get into sport agency business.

They are memorabilia dealers not authenticators, unless they have changed there business practices or added to them.

Elite is a dealer (and not one that many of us respect or buy from), not an authenticator.

Ok, well, the 'game used' item in question has an Elite sticker affixed.

i too have seen (and own) game used items with Elite holos attached. Actually I only own one thing by Elite and it was a Rafael Palmiero set of batting gloves signed and dated.
