    Vintage photo of Astros jersey oddity

    Here is a 1970s photo of Bob Watson during his Houston Astros days. Taked a close look at his name on the back of the jersey, and notice the "T" is missing! What's even more strange is you can see the outline of where the letter used to be....

    very interesting....

    I was watching the '72 ASG on the MLB channel the other night. I noticed the Tigers' Norm Cash wearing a Boston batting helmet....weird stuff.

    The ASG is good for weird stuff......watching it the other day, I caught a glimpse of Dave Parker wearing a Padres helmet during the '78 game in SD.

    Photo is of the rare 1972 Astros road jersey, a 1-year style with the white (not orange) Astros sleeve patch, and made by Spalding.
