Do the value of Jerseys change if the team sells all of the jerseys to a retail outlet?

This thought just occurred to me and I wondered if Dallas Cowboys jerseys, for example, are less valuable than another teams jerseys that only a handful make it out to the public, ie. the Steelers or Patriots?

I see that there are over 300 Cowboys jerseys available in the latest Steiner auction and I wonder if the cheap prices and the flooding of the market will make the jerseys worth less in the future?

Is it supply and demand that makes the jerseys worth more?

There are multiples factors that go into value-- for example, the Cowboys are always a more popular team than the Cardinals--, but the market supply of jerseys will effect value, there's no question about that.
