During the 60's and early 70's Yaz choice of bats was the W215, Does any forum member know if he used M110's or any other model during the 77-79 years and also length of bats used.

    During the '77-'79 period Yaz had orders of (D113 35in. 34-35oz.), (W215 34in. 34oz.), (B267 35in. 34 & 35 oz.), (C243 36i. 33-34-35oz.), (R206 36in. 34-35oz.), (C243 36in. 33.5-34.5oz.), (D113 36in 33oz.) and (R206 36in. 33.5-34-34.5oz.). These included galen and natural finishes. His only order of M110 was placed in 1980 of 36inches and 34oz. with natural finish. Kind of messy, but hope this helps.

Scott , thanks kindly for your help. I have seen a game used M110 natural finish with the 77-79 label, since we are so close to the 80 orders, could a M110 possible be a very late order in 1979???

If that M110 matches the length and weight for him, I would say it is a possibility. The H/B records are known to have missed some things. So if the bat is the right length and weight I'd say yes. But on the flip side, even if he had ordered this late in '79, it isn't on his records sheet and if you were to sell it that may hinder a prospective buyer. Just food for thought. I wonder if Mike or BMH have anything to add.
