How much to pay for these Twins bats

Can anyone tell me roughly how much one would expect to pay for either of these bats. Just looking for a ballpark figure.

    Paul Molitor 1996-1998
    Kirby Puckett 1986-1989

    Thank you,
    Bryan

My ballpark figure would be about $400 for the Molitor and $300 for the Puckett, assuming neither is auto'd.

    Hi Bryan--

Be a little careful of Kirby Puckett H & B Model C243 bats from 1986-1989. A C243 with rounded (not cupped) end and no finish, 34 1/2 inches in length may likely be an Anaconda-Kaye bat. Most of his C243 bats sent for his persona; use have either Black Finish or Gwynn Finish. Most other promotional bats (C243 bats sent to the Twins for promo purposes) had a natural, sanded finish. Other models that Puckett used during that period include W215C, S226, S226C, S318C, R161C, C243C, R206, R206C, and P116C, with lengths between 34 (few) and 35 inches, the majority being 34 1/2 inches.

Paul Molitor H & B bats from 1986-1989 period are very consistent: Model H176 . 34 inches and 32 ounces, with Black or Hickory Finish. Identical bats were sent to the Brewers for promotions, however, so check closely for evidence of Major League game use.

If you are looking at specific bats for these two Hall of Famers, let me know the Labeling Period, Model Number, Length, Weight, and Finish, and I will try to narrow it down for you.
