Value of a Joey Votto Glove With Provenance
What do you guys think the value of a Joey Votto signed glove, with a picture/COA of Joey with the glove? Not sure what a fair price would be since gloves aren't so plentiful. Any help is appreciated. thanks, Manny

Re: Value of a Joey Votto Glove With Provenance
No idea on value, but I would like to offer my opinion on something. I don't know about anyone else but pictures of a player holding the item they signed doesn't do it for me. I hate to be the skeptical type (but I am).....but I get the feeling that the player gets a box of jerseys, gloves, bats etc thrown in front of them (more than likely player issued items) and they hold one item up, a quick snapshot is taken and the player signs the item and throws a "game used" w/ date inscription on it.
These days, with so much fraud, trickery, deceit and pure greed out there......PHOTOMATCHED items are the only iyems that I will look at and say..."Yep, that is game used".
Anything else.....I have my doubts about. Especially when the item comes from a company that has a seemingly endless supply of "game used" from this or that player.
Just my opinion.

Well, the seller says it's photomatched. So if it is, that's the best proof you can get. He sent over a pic of the in game shot, and he said he'll get me pics of the glove. I'll post pics here, to get your guys' opinions. thanks, Manny

Would you say (think) that that would still be the value, maybe a little more if it is indeed photomatched? thanks, Manny

Re: Value of a Joey Votto Glove With Provenance
July 4th weekend and just got back this evening. I was checking email and always check what is new on gameuseduniverse. If an offer comes across that I can't live without comes through I have no desire to sell it , same goes for the Louisville Bats jersey. I collect Votto stuff.
