Expos Uniforms 1981-82 change
I noticed that two 1982 Topps Expos cards showed two different style home white uniforms. One card depicts Andre Dawson wearing what appears to be the style they wore through most of the 1970's, and the second card shows Scott Sanderson wearing a newer style. Was 1982 the year they changed uniforms? By the looks of the photos, both appear to be taken during spring training. I also know that Topps typically took player photos the year before, meaning this could have been 1981 for Dawson, and depending when Sanderson was in camp, possibly a 1982 photo for him. Would they have wore a mix of both styles during spring training 1982?

Topps would often just use photos from their "player file," even if it was a few years old. One of the most blatant examples of this is the following card from 1978 showing Jim Palmer. LOOK at that uniform, circa 1971!!!!

The style worn by Sanderson on the card (Rawlings for home and road) was first used in 1980.
As far as old photos on new cards, I can top the Palmer photo. The 1969 Topps card of Mel Nelson (P, Cardinals) shows a photo from his first stint with St. Louis...in 1960! (Nelson has the navy blue cap the team retired in 1964).
