    22-1???

Now THAT is a BEATDOWN! Being a Reds fan I am embarrassed by that ass kicking the Phillies gave them tonight. I don't remember seeing a bombardment like that for some time now. Cueto didn't even make it past the first inning! It was 10-0 after the bottom of the first! Are you kidding? I couldn't even it watch it past that. Since I'm in NJ I plan on going to a couple games of this four game set but man am I glad I didn't go tonight!

Only thing I'd like to add about this score is that I fortunately have Victorino and Rollins on my fantasy team... together they combined for:

    9 AB
    9 R
    7 H
    1 HR
    3 BB
    5 RBI
    .778 BA

    All in a day's work!

Nick that's just plain wrong!! lol

How about my 2 guys Posada & Jeter couple of games ago they both went 4 for 5 in the same game with like 7 rbi's
The next day Posada went like 1/5 & Jeter went like 0/4

It's like one day they are super hot the next day they have no clue.

Well, it's about time something went right with my team! I only waited half a season for a good day!

I recall a couple of major slaughters from my youth that the Cubs were on the winning end of...19-0 over the Mets when I was in kindergarten and a 20-3 pasting of the Dodgers in 1967. Al Ferrara of the Dodgers hit a home run in the L.A. loss...I found out decades later that Rich Buhrke, 50-year Wrigley Field ballhawk, caught it!

I found out today that the 22-1 shellacking the Reds took was their worst margin of loss EVER! That's saying something since they are the oldest team in baseball. At least they bounced back with a win tonight.
