    Sport King Bat History

Picked up a neat Sport King Bat recently. Was wondering if anyone could share some history about this bat. Was this a premium? Has a great logo with "Crown Manufacturing Co. Sport King Philadelphia Penna. 9SK".
    Thanks

    How long is it?

Can't really tell you much other than that I have seen them on ebay a few times which means not particularily rare, but they are scarce. Most likely made bats for the Philly area market only.

I wonder if any relation to the 1930's Goudey Sport Kings cards? Probably not.

Nice looking logo and tone. If it's over 34", it's a keeper.

35 inches long. I was thinking about the card relation as well but could not find any advertisements for such. Has a great look though.

Your bat is much later than the Sports Kings cards. I would date the label style to the 50s.
