Miguel Tejada Jersey with Cut Tails

I just bought this on Ebay and I have seen it around before. It's a Miguel Tejada game-used jersey and the authentication leter says its tails were clipped by Tejada himself. Does anyone know the reason--- Short stature? Personal susperstition? I don't doubt that it's true. Just wondering.

with the o's he never cut his jerseys the only person i ever seen cut there jerseys was javy lopez he would cut every jersey but tejada never seen him cut a jersey and i saw every jersey he wore during his time with the team

Is it his LOA or one from a dealer or 3rd party authenticator?

Maybe its just another habit-besides the 'roids-that he picked up from Jason Giambi.I have seen legitimate (with A's paperwork) BP and game jerseys of Giambi's circa 1999-2000 that had cut tails..

Maybe Miggi liked the look!!
