I did some google about the issuer of the Heat COA (Lou Lampson) and found a topic on this forum "Lou Lampson Mistakes". Next to that there is the Mears A5 which also isn't very respected on this forum too, see this topic. The combination of the two could make it's case stronger though.
The Lakers jersey I did some photo matching on getty images and found another one from the same year here. Sizes do match so again might be valid but I was hoping if you guys could provide me some better guidance or eventually could see something I missed
Modern basketball is the hardest to tell which is used or just procut/game issued. If Mears gave it a A5, I would just stay away. Most likely its not game used
Just because Mears gives a jersey a grade of A5 isn't a reason to stay away from the shirt. You still have to do your homework and compare it to pics. If you keep an eye open you can find Shaq jerseys with good provenance for a little over $1k. Robert Edward had one last year.
