Rawlings bats
Are there any differences/markings that indicate if a Rawlings bat was issued for a player or for retail. (stamping on the knob?)
Thanks

Re: Rawlings bats
Hi--
Here is an excellent link to Jeff Scott's website www.BirdBats.com that has a very informative tutorial on Rawlings/Adirondack professional model bats-- http://webpages.charter.net/birdbats...g%20Gamers.htm
If you have specific questions after looking through this material, please post ithem and I will respond.
Good luck.

Thanks for the link. I have several newer Rawlings bats(05) with the proper stamping on the botton. On one particular bat that is of a current minor leaguer instead of the -PRO- stamping under the players name has Professional Model. The bat has the right knob stamping and shows a great deal of game use. Is PRO and Professional Model used interchagibly? Is there a difference in knob stamping between retail and player issued? Thanks for the help.
