Minor league jersey #'s or old rosters help

Anyone have any idea where I can locate the jersey numbers a player wore in the minors. I have found several places to find the major league #'s but never minors. Even somehere that lists teams and rosters by year would be worth wading through for me. The only other thing I can think of would be somewhere that sells old minor league programs, but again I have never found this either.

if they played for des moines or someone des moines played against i might have it for ya, i have a huge database on des moines history. email me the info you need. if not....GOOD LUCK. i have been searching for quite somtime now for 1 minor leaguer i need. i desperetly need to know who #6 was for the des moines bruins in 1950. i have about 20 game programs from that year but noone wearing #6.
