Question about Manny Ramirez 06 Louisville

I just bought a Manny Ramirez 2006 Louisville M9 game used autograph bat.The # on it is R237 and shows not much game use,bat rack marks and #24 on the knob but the autograph is beautiful!The question i have is the Louisville Slugger M9 part suppose to be a sticker??I have a Manny 2004(not M9)Louisville that i am positive to be the real deal and the Louisville is engraved on the bat.Any help would be much appreciated.

I dont know about the particular bats you have but I do know Louisville Slugger has planned to start switching over the labels from being branded into the bat to ink labels on the bat, bcuz they feel that branding into the bat effects the integrity of the bat.

I have 3 different Red Sox M9's of Pedroia, Moss and Murphy and all have the labels and are not engraved. I obtained them directly from the players themselves. I know the Pedroia and a 2005 and is photomatched to the bat he is using in his Portland card that year. The other 2 were used during spring training this year. It seems to make sense that your Ramirez has a label rather than engraved.

Yes, the LVS M9s do have a sticker for the LVS M9 label. the barrell info it either laser etched or engraved though
