Re: 1994 Elway Throwback Jersey, real?
I'm not really an NFL jersey guy, but yea, there's a lot of nice stuff he has. There's a couple I actually would like! A lot of them have team letters, which is nice, but I know they still can be fakes.
But maybe he's legit and all is good. I'll have to let it for the NFL jersey experts here to know for sure. -

Patrick Scoggin has done some rather detailed research on the proliferation of these:

http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/vb_f...2-collectables is the only rundown on this guy I could find.
But isn't that one of the infamous Elway throwbacks supposedly only worn in ONE game that seem to be multiplying like rabbits???Comment

Re: 1994 Elway Throwback Jersey, real?
Sorry to bump such an old post, but i figure it to be better than starting a new one rehashing an old topic.
I'm simply curious to know....
All these years later, has anyone ever gotten an answer how LL or GF kept authenticating these 1 off jerseys are the real deal?
The Favre situation seems pretty cut and dry and the sizing and cuts along with the letters seem to prevent them from being passed off as something they aren't.
It just always BLEW ME AWAY that LL and GF (who obviously keep records) just kept pumping out COAs for these things.
Did they ever get confronted and held accountable for something so shady?
I'd like to know how this book ends - sorry if this has already been discussed but I couldnt find any results
Thanks!!Comment
