    Re: Detroit Tigers GU

Hi Guys I know this is a little off topic but I'm looking for a game used batting helmet to add to my collection. I'm trying to complete one from every team and the Tigers are one that I need. Looking for a player currently on the team. Any help is appreciated and nice stuff guys.

    Thanks, John

Your Worth bat should have letters/numbers stamped into the knob to be a game "model" or game issued bat. AT for Alan Trammell. Then the length without the 3. Example 34 1/2 in bat would be marked 4 1/2. Then the model number. W225 or something like that.

                        Hope that helps.

I'm pretty sure there is nothing stamped on the knob. Thanks for the reply.

This just arrived today, a Brandon Inge Tigers road helmet from MLB Auctions.

The hologram says it's from 8/10/09 Detroit at Boston.

I know the Tigers have been eliminated for a couple weeks now, but I thought I'd add another GU piece to this thread.

It's a 1998 GU road batting helmet (slightly cracked) from Billy Ripken:
