Is this the seller who had the "Bob Uecker" Cardinals jersey a few weeks back?

If you look at the inside of the helmet, you'll notice two (2) interesting aspects. First - the fiberglass threads and the ABC label which may date the helmet to the late 1960's to early 1970's - Just my opinion.

Howard Wolf may have a heart-attack when he sees this helmet. Howard, I know CPR - I can help.

It's almost too ridiculous to get into, but here are my issues with it:
    • Imo, the exterior looks as though it's been painted by hand (last week, by a scammer, in the Blue Ridge Mountains)
    • I'm as colorblind as it gets, but is the exterior even the correct color?
    • What's up with the dymo tape? Were the Phils using that in the 70s?
    • Hand-painted logo and brim numeral (by a scammer, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, who forgot what a real Phillies logo looks like) Ironically, the Rose game photos dude included in the auction show Pete in helmets that clearly have decal logos.
    • No way that "14" on the inside padding is vintage.
    • Curious what's beneath the blotch above the "ROSE" tape on back.
    • It's just a really silly looking helmet.

    Jim-
Not quite a heart attack, but a good laugh!

The helmet is a complete train wreck, including:

14 painted on the bill. the Phillies used individual white numbers or a special small clear square with the number(s) "screened" on it.

ROSE on back in dymo tape. I've had dozens of helmets from the Rose era (1979-1983), and they all had #'s, not names, on the front and back.

Logo. the Phillies did indeed paint the P on the front-only this was discontinued after 1971. It should be a traditional sticker for 1979-1983.

Fiberglass shell. Wrong again! Should be the molded plastic.

Attached are a few shots of a flapless helmet, circa 1982/1983. It was used by Steve Carlton and is a good example of what a gamer should look like.

Another one! I know Dave Grob doesn't post here anymore but I'd love to hear his thoughts on this.
