    Met Mystery #66

What goes on here? Casey or Yogi would say it better. Yet another seemingly genuine piece of Met equipment assigned a cock-eyed number. Lets leave the e-bay seller out of this because the piece is real the number is not. Submitted for your approval:
Pete Schourek wore #48 for the Mets from 1991-1993 so why #66?

In the 1990 Street & Smith issue, he is listed on the Mets roster although no number is assigned to him....Could it be from 1990 ST?

Could be, there's really no other explanation. I had forgotten that Pete was the Cy Young runner-up in 1995 to Greg Maddux. Funny,66 is also the amount of wins he has in the majors.
