Anyone have this book? I'm interested in hearing what you think of it and is it worth the $90+ to buy it.

Re: Baseball Pinback Buttons by Paul Muchinsky
It is a terrific book. The values are a bit high imo, but it provides terrific photos of a lot and I mean a lot of pins. It covers all the crossed bat pins, pins of all teams including playoffs etc, player pins, minor league, knothole gang, special day etc. However, it doesn't include the major pin sets like Kolbs, Schmelzer arms, Mortons etc. For that you need Take Hake's book on non paper collectibles that is out of print. I use it as a value guide and to determine scarcity. If it isn't in that book it's probably pretty rare. It is expensive, but it is very well done, hard back, 586 pages, well organized, and fun to look through. I was getting interested in pinbacks and growing my collection, so it was worth it to me. I use it often. Check out the website and Greatoakspress.com

Thanks for the reply Mike. I ordered it straight from the publisher. This book must be a keeper because there are none on ebay/amazon/abebooks or anywhere else on the net except for full price from the publisher.Comment
