Jersey question for Kingjammy24
Rudy,
On a game used jersey, if the player has two home jerseys from the same season, have you ever seen puckering on the back numbers that are exactly the same?
I have a jersey and the puckered numbers on the back match a photo I found.
Thanks, Bobby

Re: Jersey question for Kingjammy24
Not wanting to speak for Rudy, but that would be impossible to be exactly the same.

Re: Jersey question for Kingjammy24
no, actual "puckering" couldn't be the same. puckering is wash wear.
make sure you're dealing with puckering though and not fold creases/marks. someone will fold a jersey up, the folds will cause
creases in the numbers and they'll call it "puckering". there are visual similarities and differences between the two.

Re: Jersey question for Kingjammy24
Rudy,
Here's the jersey I was referring to.
Dustin Pedroia 2008 home jersey. The puckering of the back numbers match and also this particular style jersey was worn early half of the 2008 season, the game photo is from April 20, 2008 later in the season Pedroia jerseys had a breathable mesh lining under both arm areas. Does it look like a match?
Thanks, Bobby

Re: Jersey question for Kingjammy24
Looks like a match, unless there is a reason you know that it isn't.
Look at the stitches on the top, right corner of the "1".
