Old Hickory bat codes
Can anyone decipher the exact meaning of Old Hickory's bat codes (which began this year per MLB's imperative)?
For instance, here are some from my favorite player, Brandon Allen:
903050-BA6
903050-BA8
908154-BA9
...I'm guessing the first five numbers are the date in YMMDD format. Any idea what the last number before the dash, or the last number after his initials are? I'd guess something like order # and the bat # of that particular order.
Maybe others with some Old Hickorys can help nail it down.

Re: Old Hickory bat codes
Here's what he sent back:
In 903050-BA6 for example. 9=Year, 03=month the order was placed, and 050= # sequence of orders received that month (ie, This was the 50th order received at that point in time in March.). BA6 identifies the bat to us for weight when it left the shop and lumber supplier. All of that info is readily available to us if an issue occurs with the bat. We go straight to the paperwork saved from that order. This would be bat #6.
