Just so you know, his 20th HR GU bat from this season is off the market. Gomes presented it to retiring Dayton Daily News Reds beat writer Hal McCoy in a pregame ceremony honoring the sportswriter.

I was actually just reading about that five minutes ago, and had the exact same reaction. Definitely would have liked that bat! I do have two of the same model, at least.

This one? I bought it, along with a second one that the seller had. Those, along with the one mentioned earlier, are all the bats I currently have incoming.

You need to find his batting helmet that thing was classic all year with all the pine tar. Good Luck on your search and I will keep you in mind.

I've only seen one of his helmets for sale, a Tampa Tarpons throwback one through MLB auctions. Even the Louisville Bats, who were selling helmets from this season, didn't have one of Gomes (sold his jerseys, but they just didn't have his helmet for some reason).

I have a Jonny Gomes, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, S273 34, Rock Maple Bat by Phoenix Bat Company, Columbus, Ohio, blonde in color, pine tar, lots of ball markings, fat mushroom shaped handle, 31 on cup end, slight 1 inch crack at handle. If interested Email (Charsman6@aol.com) for price.
