What's with Marucci and the Braves?
Not sure if any of you guys noticed, but for the final month of the season, almost half the Braves were using Marucci bats. Almost all of the player's who used them were players who have never even picked one up before in their career for an at-bat.
I noticed Brian McCann, Matt Diaz, Brooks Conrad, Clint Sammons, and most surprisingly, Chipper Jones, using Marucci. I took a few close-up shots and each of the bats they're using are indeed their own model with their name on the barrel (except for Clint Sammons who took McCann's bat and wrote his number on the knob). But Chipper mainly surprises me since I've never seen him use anything other than Rawlings, Mizuno, & LS for the past decade.
Maybe Marucci was having a sale on their bats???kylehess941@hotmail.com

I wish they had a sale on bats.
$105 bucks a pop is steep.
They are great bats though.metsbats86@aol.com

Re: What's with Marucci and the Braves?
Marucci has been known to give their bats away to the pros, just so people will use them. Kinda like advertising.
